Two things that we can’t get enough of are books and great architecture. We just ran across this list of 62 of the World’s Most Beautiful Libraries on Mental_Floss, and were completely blown away. Between the two of us we have only been to three of these libraries, but I’m definitely hoping to upgrade that number soon.

Trinity College Library, Dublin.

Not only does it look just plain amazing, but it also kind of – KIND OF – reminded us of the Library from Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
(Note: Much of that wondrous Doctor Who library was actually this, and is sadly not a real library these days)
Jose Vasconcelos Library, Mexico.
If, for some unknown reason, a Borg Cube had a library, this might be what it would like.
Vancouver Public Library, Canada.
This is one of the few libraries from the list that I have spent time at, and I love how you can spend the entire day at the massive library complex (which includes restaurants and shops).
